A blocked account (Sperrkonto) is a German bank account where you deposit €11,208 before applying for the student visa. It proves you can support yourself financially. You can access €934/month after arriving in Germany.

The APS (Academic Evaluation Centre) certificate is mandatory for all international students applying for German universities and visas. It verifies your academic documents. Apply at the APS India office in New Delhi. Processing takes 4–8 weeks.

Not necessarily! Over 1,500 Master's programmes are taught entirely in English, especially in engineering, business, and natural sciences. For German-taught programmes, you need B2 level German (TestDaF or DSH). Learning German greatly improves job prospects.
