The Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows graduates from eligible Canadian DLIs to work in Canada for up to 3 years after completing their programme. PGWP holders can then apply for permanent residency through Express Entry.
University tuition ranges from CAD 15,000–40,000/year depending on the city and programme. College diplomas cost CAD 8,000–18,000/year. Total annual cost including living expenses is approximately CAD 25,000–55,000 (INR 15–33 lakh).
Most Canadian universities require IELTS (6.0–7.0), TOEFL (83–100) or PTE Academic (58–65). Under the SDS programme, a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 with no band below 6.0 can speed up visa processing.
